Keto Chocolate Mousse in 2 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered erythritol or your preferred keto-friendly sweetener
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Optional: A pinch of salt or a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cocoa powder, powdered sweetener, and a pinch of salt (if using). Stir until well blended.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients:
    • Pour in the heavy whipping cream and add the vanilla extract.
  3. Whip the Mixture:
    • Use a hand mixer or a whisk to whip the mixture until it reaches a light and fluffy consistency. This usually takes about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Serve:
    • Spoon the mousse into serving dishes. You can enjoy it immediately or refrigerate it for a colder, firmer texture.
  5. Optional Garnishes:
    • Top with a dollop of whipped cream, a few berries, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder if desired.

Tips

  • Adjust Sweetness: You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sweetener to taste.
  • Chill for Thicker Mousse: If you prefer a thicker mousse, let it chill in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
