Keto Burger King

Keto Burger King-Style Burger Recipe:
Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:
- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean for juicier patties)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1-2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional, for flavor)
For the Burger:
- 4 large iceberg lettuce leaves (to replace the burger bun)
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 1 small red onion, sliced
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- Pickles (optional, but a great addition for that Burger King flavor)
- Sugar-free ketchup (or homemade if you prefer)
- Mustard (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Burger Patties:
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Mix the ingredients well.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties of equal size, pressing them slightly in the center to prevent them from puffing up too much while cooking.
- Cook the Patties:
- Heat a grill pan, regular pan, or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness (usually 160°F internal temperature for medium).
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Assemble the Burger:
- Lay a large lettuce leaf on a plate to act as your “bun” base.
- Place a cooked patty with melted cheese on top of the lettuce leaf.
- Add a slice of tomato, onion, and a few pickles on top.
- Spread a bit of sugar-free ketchup and/or mustard for that classic Burger King flavor.
- Top and Wrap:
- Top with another lettuce leaf, folding it over the burger to create a “wrap.”
- For extra flavor, you can add a small amount of mayo (opt for a keto-friendly version).
- Serve:
- Serve your Keto Burger King-style burger immediately, and enjoy your low-carb, bun-less burger!
This recipe lets you enjoy the taste of a classic Burger King burger without the carbs, thanks to the lettuce wraps. You can customize the toppings (like bacon, avocado, or jalapeños) to make it even more decadent!
