Indulge in a creamy and delightful Cottage Cheese Cake that’s sure to impress!

Ingredients:

– 150 g butter or margarine

– 150 g sugar

– 2 eggs

– 320 g flour

– 2 tsp baking powder

– 180 g sugar (for topping)

– 2 eggs (for topping)

– 4 egg yolks (for topping)

– 2 tbsp lemon juice (for topping)

– 3/4 liter milk (for topping)

– 2 packages vanilla pudding powder (for topping)

– 1 kg quark (for topping)

– 320 ml oil (for topping)

– 4 egg whites (for glaze)

– 4 tbsp sugar (for glaze)

– Fat for the baking tray

– Icing sugar for dusting (if desired)

Directions:

1. For the base, knead the butter, sugar, eggs, flour, and baking powder into a smooth dough. Roll it out in a greased baking pan or springform pan.

2. For the topping, combine the sugar, whole eggs, and egg yolks. Mix the lemon juice and milk, then add them to the mixture along with the custard powder, quark, and oil.

3. Pour onto the pastry base and spread evenly with a spatula.

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.

5. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, carefully adding the sugar. Spread over the quark mixture and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.

6. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
