1 cup milk (any type you prefer—cow’s milk, almond milk, etc.)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup protein powder (chocolate or vanilla flavor)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cocoa powder, protein powder, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt.
Add Liquid: Gradually add the milk to the dry ingredients, whisking constantly to ensure there are no lumps.
Cook: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Continue to whisk the mixture as it heats up. Once it starts to simmer, reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for about 2-3 minutes, or until the pudding has thickened to your desired consistency.
Sweeten: Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract.
Cool: Let the pudding cool for a few minutes, then transfer it to individual serving dishes. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Serve: Enjoy your protein-packed chocolate pudding on its own, or with toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, or a dollop of whipped cream.
