homamade condensed keto milk

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk for a richer flavor)
  • 1/4 cup powdered erythritol (or any keto-friendly sweetener of choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine Cream and Almond Milk: In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream and almond milk over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the mixture starts to heat up, but do not let it boil.
  2. Sweeten the Mixture: Add the powdered erythritol (or sweetener of your choice) to the mixture, stirring well until it fully dissolves.
  3. Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. It should begin to thicken as it cooks down.
  4. Finish: Once the mixture has reduced to about half its original volume and reached a creamy consistency, add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
  5. Cool: Remove from heat and allow the condensed milk to cool down. It will thicken further as it cools.
  6. Store: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
