Glazed Carrots

Ingredients:

1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)

1/4 cup water

Instructions:

In a skillet over medium heat, add carrots and water. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until carrots are slightly tender.

Remove the lid and let any remaining water evaporate. Add butter, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon (if using).

Stir and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the carrots are glazed and caramelized.

Serve warm and enjoy!
