Fruitcakes. Pecans, apricots, dates and cherries

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup flour

1/2 t. baking powder

1/2 t. salt

3 eggs

2 t. vanilla

Stir these ingredients together with a spoon ( I use a wooden spoon)

Add:

8 oz. chopped dried apricots

8 oz. chopped dates

12 oz. pecan halves

1 cup whole maraschino cherries, drained

Bake at 325 degrees

Tube pan-75 minutes
