Fried cabbage with Hot & Spicy Italian sausage over Jasmine Rice


Ingredients:
1 head of cabbage
1 yellow bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 purple onion
1 pack of Italian Sausage (Beyond or Lightlife)
Minced Garlic
Salt
Pepper
Sunflower Oil or Olive Oil
Creole Seasoning
Bacon Seasonings
First you want to heat up the oil and then sautee your bacon seasoning in the oil. I would say put at least 3 tablespoons.
Then you want to put the onions and bell peppers in this skillet. Saute them where it is cooked.
Once the veggies are done, add your sausage. As it begins to cook, add mince garlic and Creole seasonings. I used Tony Chacherie’s.
Lastly added the Cabbage and let it start cooking. It will shrink. Then cover it for about 15 minutes.
Once it was done, we put this over jasmine rice.
