Easy Air Fryer Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients:
- 1 rack of baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ribs:
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it’s still attached. This helps the ribs become more tender.
- Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- Season the Ribs:
- Rub the ribs with olive oil to help the seasonings stick.
- Season generously with salt and pepper, or use your favorite dry rub seasoning.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C). This step ensures the ribs cook evenly.
- Cook the Ribs:
- Place the ribs in the air fryer basket, curved side down.
- Cook for about 25-30 minutes at 300°F (150°C). Halfway through cooking, flip the ribs using tongs to ensure even cooking.
- Optional: Apply Barbecue Sauce:
- If you like saucy ribs, you can brush on barbecue sauce during the last 5 minutes of cooking. This allows the sauce to caramelize slightly.
- Check for Doneness:
- Ribs should be tender and the internal temperature should reach at least 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
- Serve:
- Once done, remove the ribs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side if desired.
