East No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Ingredients:
For the Base:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
For the Chocolate Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions:
- Prepare Base:
- In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press into Pan:
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined 9×9-inch (or similar size) square baking pan. Ensure an even and compact layer.
- Melt Chocolate Topping:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate and peanut butter on the stovetop using a double boiler.
- Spread Chocolate:
- Pour the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the graham cracker base. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Chill:
- Place the pan in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2-3 hours or until the chocolate is set.
- Cut into Squares:
- Once the chocolate is firm, remove the pan from the refrigerator. Lift the parchment paper to easily remove the entire block from the pan. Place it on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to cut into squares.
- Serve:
- Serve and enjoy your delicious no-bake chocolate peanut butter squares!
