Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Goat Cheese

Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Goat Cheese

Ingredients
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise

2 tbsp Olive oil

2 tbsp Honey or maple syrup

½ tsp Garlic powder

½ tsp Sea salt

¼ tsp Black pepper

⅓ cup Goat cheese (or feta), crumbled

2 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions
Prep the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large baking sheet or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Season the Sprouts: In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with the olive oil, honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Ensure every piece is evenly coated in the sweet and savory mixture.

Arrange for Max Crisp: Transfer the sprouts to the prepared baking sheet. Arrange them in a single layer, turning them all cut-side down. This is the secret to achieving that deep, golden-brown caramelization visible in image_d200ec.jpg.

Roast to Perfection: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. They are ready when the edges are crispy and charred, and the insides are fork-tender.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the roasted sprouts to a serving platter. While they are still warm, generously top them with the crumbled goat cheese so it softens slightly against the heat. Sprinkle the freshly chopped parsley over the top for a pop of color and freshness. Serve immediately as a show-stopping side dish.
