Prep Time: 5 minutes
Chill Time: 20–30 minutes (optional)
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add the vanilla ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, powdered sugar (if using), and salt to a blender.
- Blend for 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy. Avoid over-blending, which can make it too thin.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with a little more chocolate syrup or powdered sugar if desired.
- For a thicker, Frosty-like texture, transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 20–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately with a spoon or a wide straw.

Tips
- Use less milk for a thicker Frosty.
- Add 2–3 tablespoons of heavy cream for an extra-rich, creamy texture.
- Freeze the glasses for 10 minutes before serving to help keep the Frosty cold and thick.
Optional Variations
- Mocha Frosty: Blend in ½ teaspoon instant espresso powder.
- Chocolate Malt Frosty: Add 1 tablespoon malted milk powder.
- Cookies & Cream Frosty: Blend in 3–4 chocolate sandwich cookies.
