Creamy Chocolate Frosty (Homemade Style)

Creamy Chocolate Frosty (Homemade Style)

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Chill Time: 20–30 minutes (optional)
Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add the vanilla ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, powdered sugar (if using), and salt to a blender.
  2. Blend for 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy. Avoid over-blending, which can make it too thin.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with a little more chocolate syrup or powdered sugar if desired.
  4. For a thicker, Frosty-like texture, transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 20–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately with a spoon or a wide straw.

Tips

  • Use less milk for a thicker Frosty.
  • Add 2–3 tablespoons of heavy cream for an extra-rich, creamy texture.
  • Freeze the glasses for 10 minutes before serving to help keep the Frosty cold and thick.

Optional Variations

  • Mocha Frosty: Blend in ½ teaspoon instant espresso powder.
  • Chocolate Malt Frosty: Add 1 tablespoon malted milk powder.
  • Cookies & Cream Frosty: Blend in 3–4 chocolate sandwich cookies.
