Ingredients
For the pudding layer:
2 cups cold milk
1 package (3.4 oz / 96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3–4 tablespoons powdered  sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the layers:
4–5 ripe bananas (sliced)
2 cups crushed vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Optional (for extra richness):
4 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the pudding

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix for about 2 minutes until it thickens. Set it aside to firm up slightly

Make whipped cream

In another bowl, beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract using a mixer until soft peaks form. This should take about 3–5 minutes.

3. Combine for a creamy base

Gently fold the whipped cream into the prepared pudding. This makes the texture lighter and fluffier.

Prepare the toppings

  • Slice bananas into even rounds
  • Crush cookies into small chunks (not too fine—you want texture)

Assemble the parfaits

Use clear cups for the best visual effect.

Sugar

Layer in this order:

  1. Pudding (bottom layer)
  2. Crushed cookies
  3. Banana slices
  4. Pudding again

Repeat layers if your cups are tall.

Add the topping

Finish with:

  • Banana slices
  • A sprinkle of cookie crumbs
  • Mini chocolate chips
