Cheesy Bacon Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sliders Everyone Devours
Ingredients:
12 slider rolls
5 strips bacon
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
2 small jalapeños, seeded and diced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Keeping the rolls attached, slice them in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.
Place the bottom half of the rolls on a baking sheet and set the tops aside.
Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until crispy.
Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate and let cool, then chop finely.
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese and 1 cup of the Monterey Jack cheese.
Add the chopped bacon, shredded chicken, and diced jalapeños. Stir until well combined.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of Monterey Jack cheese over the filling.
Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
Melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder.
Brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and cut between the sliders.
Serve warm and enjoy.
