Cabbage and Potato Curry

INGREDIEN
4 cups finely chopped cabbage
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 cup sliced onion
1 tbsp ginger and green chili paste
1 cup chopped tomato
½ cup frozen or fresh peas
3 tbsp mustard oil
Salt to taste
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp mustard seeds
1 bay leaf
2-3 dashes asafoetida
⅓ cup water
Directions:
- Set Instant Pot to SAUTE; add oil and temper spices.
- Sauté onions until lightly golden.
- Add ginger-chili paste; cook out raw aroma.
- Add tomatoes, spices; cook thoroughly.
- Mix in potatoes; cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cabbage; combine well.
- Pour water and deglaze.
- Pressure cook on HIGH for 5 minutes.
- Release pressure; stir in peas.
- Simmer to thicken; garnish with cilantro
