Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

This Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a golden, crispy, and irresistibly flavorful dish that combines tender chicken with a rich garlic-parmesan crust. Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs / 700g)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs or a mix of oregano, thyme, basil
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Chicken
  • Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • Brush each breast with olive oil on all sides.
  • Make Garlic-Parmesan Coating
  • In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Italian herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat the Chicken
  • Press each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  • Make sure the garlic-parmesan mixture sticks well to the chicken.
  • Bake
  • Place chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden brown.
  • Serve
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
