Air fryer Thick Pork Chops
## INGREDIENTS
* ▢2 thick bone in pork chops
* ▢1 teaspoon olive oil
## Pork Chop Rub
* ▢1 teaspoon salt
* ▢1 teaspoon ground black pepper
* ▢½ tablespoon garlic powder
* ▢2 tablespoons brown sugar
* ▢½ tablespoon onion powder
* ▢½ tablespoon smoked paprika
## INSTRUCTIONS
* Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Make the rub: To a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, brown sugar, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Set aside.
* Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel on both sides.
* Brush each pork chop with olive oil on both sides.
* Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with the rub and press it into the pork chops.
* Add the pork chops to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit as read by a food thermometer.
* Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let rest on a plate for 3 minutes before cutting. Then enjoy with your favorite side dishes.
