Air-Fryer Pork Belly
You will need
Serving
- 400 grams pork belly (sliced into about 0.8-1cm thick long pieces)
- 3 shallots
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 lemongrass (only white parts)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon five spice powder
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoon annatto oil
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients except pork belly into a food processor and pulse until it’s smooth ( or almost).
- Place pork belly slices into a mixing bowl and pour in the blended marinade sauce. Give it a massage until the meat is well-coated.
- Once the meat is ready, place them in an air-fryer and cook at 200C for 10 mins.
- Remove the basket from the air-fryer and flip the pork. Cook at 200C for the last 4-5 mins.
- Slice and serve with your fav grilled meat sauce. I like to dip into hot sauce or Korean Ssamjang ( seasoned soybean paste )OMG I really love it!
