Air fryer Stuffed cheese ball

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: Small pieces of cooked bacon, jalapeños, or herbs for stuffing

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the cheese filling:
    • In a bowl, mix mozzarella, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Add optional stuffing like bacon or jalapeños for extra flavor.
    • Form the mixture into small balls (1-2 inches in diameter) and freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.
  2. Set up the breading station:
    • Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  3. Coat the cheese balls:
    • Roll each ball in flour, dip it in egg, and coat it with breadcrumbs.
    • Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust if desired.
  4. Air fry the cheese balls:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
    • Lightly spray the cheese balls with cooking spray and arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
    • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve:
    • Allow the cheese balls to cool slightly before serving.
    • Serve with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
