Air fryer perfect soft boiled eggs

  1. Preheat your air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 250°F (120°C). Preheating is essential to ensure the eggs cook evenly.
  2. Prepare the eggs: Take as many fresh eggs as you want to cook. You can cook multiple eggs at once. Use a pushpin or an egg pricker to make a small hole in the wide end of each egg. This will prevent the eggs from cracking while they cook.
  3. Place the eggs in the air fryer: Put the pierced eggs directly in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are in a single layer and not touching each other.
  4. Cook the eggs: Set the air fryer to 250°F (120°C) and cook the eggs for about 15-18 minutes. Cooking time can vary slightly depending on the air fryer model and the size of the eggs, so you may need to adjust it.
  5. Prepare an ice bath: While the eggs are cooking, fill a bowl with cold water and ice cubes. This will be used to stop the cooking process and cool the eggs rapidly.
  6. Remove the eggs: After the eggs are done, carefully take them out of the air fryer using tongs or a slotted spoon and place them in the ice water bath.
