Air fryer jelly doughnuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or use homemade dough)
  • 1/2 cup jelly or jam (any flavor)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Doughnuts:
    • Open the biscuit dough and separate the pieces.
    • Use your fingers to flatten each biscuit slightly.
    • Add a small dollop of jelly or jam (about 1 teaspoon) in the center of each.
    • Fold the dough around the jelly and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
  2. Air Frying:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
    • Place the doughnuts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, seam side down.
    • Air fry for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  3. Coating:
    • While the doughnuts are still warm, brush them with melted butter.
    • Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and roll the doughnuts in the mixture until coated.
  4. Serve:
    • Let the doughnuts cool slightly before enjoying.
