Air Fryer Egg in a Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 slice of bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp shredded cheese (optional)
  • Chopped chives or parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Cut a hole in the center of the bread using a small round cutter or the rim of a glass.
  3. Brush both sides of the bread with melted butter.
  4. Place the bread in the air fryer basket and carefully crack an egg into the hole.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the egg reaches your desired doneness.
    • For a runny yolk: 5 minutes
    • For a firmer yolk: 7 minutes
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top in the last minute if using.
  8. Garnish with chives or parsley, and enjoy!
