AIR FRYER CHEESE SCONES
Ingredients:-
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
Instructions:-
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried parsley, and black pepper.
- Add grated cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese to the flour mixture. Mix well.
- Cut in cold cubed butter using a pastry cutter or your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Form the Dough:
- In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and sour cream.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the flour mixture. Mix until the dough comes together. It will be slightly sticky.
- Shape the Scones:
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a ball and then flatten into a disk shape, about 1 inch thick.
- Air Fryer Cooking:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the scones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each one.
- Air fry the scones for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve:
- Let the scones cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy warm with butter or your favorite spread!
