When the days are crisp and the nights are chilly, nothing says savory satisfaction quite like this Sweater Weather dip. A combination of cream cheese, cheese, cranberry sauce, and dried cranberries makes for a balanced and satisfying savory dip.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream
- 1 cup mozzarella, divided
- 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce or jam
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, divided
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Crackers, for serving
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5 baking pan or 9-inch pie dish, set aside.
- In a bowl beat cream cheese until smooth and lump free, about 1 to 2 minutes. Add sour cream, 1/2 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the cream cheese mixture into the prepared dish.
- Spoon cranberry sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture. Use a knife to marble the cranberry sauce into the cream cheese.
- Top with remaining cheese and cranberries and bake until golden on top and bubbling, about 15 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!
