There are some recipes that instantly remind me of busy weeknights, game-day gatherings, and those cozy weekends when everyone seems to wander into the kitchen looking for something warm and delicious. These 3-Ingredient Cheddar Bratwurst Bites have become one of those dependable favorites in my home because they require almost no effort but always disappear within minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 14-ounce / 400 g package fully cooked cheddar bratwurst sausages (5 bratwursts)
- 1 8-ounce / 226 g tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning optional, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles along the perforations.
- Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow strips. You should have about 24 strips total.
- Cut each bratwurst into 4–5 bite-sized pieces, making approximately 24 pieces.
- Wrap one strip of crescent dough around each bratwurst piece, stretching the dough slightly to overlap if needed.
- Arrange the wrapped bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.
- Sprinkle the tops with everything bagel seasoning, if using.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the dough is puffed and golden brown.
- Let cool for 3–5 minutes before serving.
