Homemade 1 Point 3 musketeer candy bars

🍫 Diabetic-friendly 3 Musketeers–style bars

Makes: about 10–12 small bars

Nougat filling

  • ½ cup sugar-free marshmallow-style spread or ½ cup powdered allulose
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter (optional, for a richer texture)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tbsp heavy cream, as needed

Chocolate coating

  • 4 oz sugar-free dark chocolate or unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Sweetener to taste, if using unsweetened chocolate

Directions

  1. Make the filling: Mix cocoa, sweetener, peanut butter, and vanilla. Add cream a little at a time until you get a thick, smooth, fluffy mixture.
  2. Press into a small parchment-lined dish, about ½–¾ inch thick.
  3. Freeze for 30–45 minutes, then cut into small bars.
  4. Melt the sugar-free chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
  5. Dip each frozen bar in the chocolate and place on parchment.
  6. Refrigerate until firm.

For diabetes-friendly eating

Use allulose or monk-fruit/erythritol rather than regular sugar, and choose chocolate with little or no added sugar. Keep the bars small because even a low-sugar recipe can contain carbohydrates from cocoa, dairy, and other ingredients.
