Ingredients
- 16 oz (450 g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 cup green olives, finely chopped
- ½ cup black olives, finely chopped
- ½ cup roasted red peppers, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons capers, chopped (optional but recommended)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1–2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Mix in the mayonnaise and sour cream until creamy.
- Fold in the olives, roasted peppers, capers, garlic, parsley, dill, Italian seasoning, pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2–4 hours (overnight is even better) so the flavors meld.
- Before serving, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
- Garnish with whole green olives and parsley, just like in the photo.

- Use Castelvetrano green olives for a buttery, mild taste.
- Finely chop all mix-ins for a smooth, spreadable texture.
- Add ¼ cup crumbled feta if you want a tangier Mediterranean flavor.
- A splash (1 teaspoon) of olive brine enhances the olive taste.
