
Ginger, Lemon, and Honey Drink
Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 ml) water
- 1β2 inches (2.5β5 cm) fresh ginger root, sliced or grated
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1β2 teaspoons honey (optional)
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the ginger and simmer for 10β15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Strain the liquid.
- Stir in the lemon juice.
- Add honey if desired.
- Serve warm.
