🥬 High-Protein Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

🥣 Ingredients (4–5 servings)

For the rolls:

1 large head green cabbage
1 lb (450g) lean ground beef (or turkey/chicken)
½ cup cooked rice (or cauliflower rice for lower carbs)
½ cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 egg
½ cup Greek yogurt (secret protein boost + moisture)
Salt, pepper, paprika to taste

Sauce:

2 cups tomato sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Prep cabbage
Boil whole cabbage for a few minutes until leaves soften. Peel off leaves carefully.
Make filling
Mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, egg, Greek yogurt, and seasonings.
Roll them up
Place filling in each cabbage leaf and roll tightly (like a burrito).
Assemble
Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Pour sauce over top.
Cook
Oven: 180°C (350°F) for 40–50 minutes
OR
Simmer covered on stovetop ~35–40 minutes
💪 Protein Content
~20–25g protein per serving
Increase protein by:
Using extra lean meat
Adding more Greek yogurt
Mixing in a little cottage cheese
