Ingredients
Bacon Wrapped Tots
- 20–24 frozen tater tots
- 10–12 slices bacon (cut in half)
- Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, black pepper
- Optional: shredded cheddar or pepper jack (for a cheesy twist)
Homemade Ranch
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tsp lemon juice)
- 1 tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: ½ tsp lemon juice or vinegar for tang
Instructions
✅ Step 1: Prep the Tots
- Partially cook the tots (optional but helps crispiness):
- Air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Let them cool slightly so the bacon sticks better.
✅ Step 2: Wrap the Tots
- Wrap each tot with a half slice of bacon.
- Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, and pepper (optional).
✅ Step 3: Air Fry
- Place wrapped tots in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400°F for 10–12 minutes.
- Flip halfway through.
- Cook longer if you want extra crispy bacon.
Tip: If the bacon isn’t crisping, spray lightly with oil and add 2–3 more minutes.
