๐Ÿงบ Ingredients

  • 1 rack baby back ribs (cut to fit air fryer)
  • Salt & pepper

Dry Rub (optional but recommended)

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ยฝ tsp black pepper
  • ยฝ tsp salt

Sauce (optional)

  • ยฝ cup BBQ sauce
  • 1โ€“2 tbsp honey (for sticky ribs)

๐Ÿ”ช Preparation

  1. Remove membrane
    Flip ribs bone-side up and peel off the thin membrane (helps tenderness).
  2. Season
    • Pat ribs dry
    • Rub with salt, pepper, and dry rub on both sides
  3. Cut to fit
    • Cut rack into 2โ€“3 sections so they fit comfortably in the basket.

๐Ÿณ Air Fryer Instructions

STEP 1: Slow & Tender

  1. Preheat air fryer
    • 160ยฐC / 320ยฐF for 3โ€“5 minutes
  2. Wrap
    • Wrap ribs tightly in foil (this steams them tender)
  3. Cook
    • Air fry at 160ยฐC / 320ยฐF for 35โ€“40 minutes
    • Flip halfway if possible

STEP 2: Sauce & Crisp

  1. Unwrap carefully
    • Ribs should be very tender
  2. Sauce
    • Brush generously with BBQ sauce
    • Mix BBQ sauce + honey if you like sticky ribs
  3. Finish
    • Air fry uncovered at 200ยฐC / 400ยฐF for 8โ€“12 minutes
    • Turn once and brush with extra sauce

โœ… How to Know Theyโ€™re Done

  • Meat pulls back from the bones
  • Very tender when pierced
  • Sticky, caramelized outside

  • Let ribs rest 5 minutes before serving
