Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese (small curd or whipped)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Makes about 8 cheese sticks.
🍳 Directions (Full Recipe)
1. Preheat & Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
(This prevents sticking — very important with melted cheese.)
2. Blend the Cottage Cheese
- Add the 1 cup cottage cheese to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy, with no curds left.
(This helps the sticks hold shape and bake evenly.)
3. Mix in the Mozzarella
- In a bowl, combine:
- the blended cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- Stir well until thoroughly mixed and uniform.
4. Spread & Shape
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread it into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
- Smooth the top for even baking.
5. Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes,
or until the edges are golden and the top is lightly browned.
6. Cool & Slice
- Let the baked cheese slab cool for 5–10 minutes.
- Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, slice into 8 sticks.
(Cut lengthwise, then crosswise.)
7. Optional: Crisp Further
If you want them extra crispy:
- Place sliced sticks back on the baking sheet.
- Bake an additional 5–8 minutes, or air-fry at 390°F (200°C) for 4–6 minutes.
