🧀 10-Minute Cheese Bread Recipe

Yield: ~6-8 small pieces
Prep + Cook Time: 10 minutes


✅ Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup (120ml) milk (any kind)
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil (plus more for cooking)
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • Optional:
    • ¼ tsp garlic powder
    • ¼ tsp oregano or parsley
    • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan (for extra flavor)

🔪 Instructions:

1. Mix Dry Ingredients:

In a bowl, whisk together:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • (Add garlic powder and herbs if using)

2. Add Wet Ingredients:

  • Stir in ½ cup milk and 1 tbsp melted butter or oil.
  • Mix until you get a thick batter (like pancake batter).

3. Add Cheese:

  • Fold in 1 cup shredded cheese.

4. Cook the Bread (Stovetop Method):

  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  • Spoon batter into small rounds or spread like a pancake (½ inch thick).
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

🔥 Alternative (Oven/Broiler Method):
Spread batter in a small greased pan or baking dish, bake at 425°F (220°C) for 8-10 minutes or until golden and set.
