- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the diced apples, melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Spoon a tablespoon of the apple mixture onto each triangle of dough.
- Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and tuck the ends under to seal.
- Place the apple pie rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
- Cook the rolls in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove the apple pie rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
- Dust the rolls with powdered sugar if desired.
- Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side for extra indulgence.
