AIR FRYER CHICKEN WINGS

AIR FRYER CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split at joints, tips discarded
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: Your favorite wing sauce for tossing (e.g., buffalo, BBQ)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Wings:
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps to ensure crispy skin.
    • In a bowl, combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Coat the Wings:
    • Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over them. Toss the wings until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Cook the Wings:
    • Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
    • Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Optional Tossing in Sauce:
    • If you like saucy wings, transfer the cooked wings to a bowl and toss them in your favorite wing sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the wings hot, garnished with chopped parsley or celery sticks on the side. You can also serve them with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
