WW Chaffle Burger

🍔 WW- Chaffle Burger: Low-Carb, High Flavor!
Looking for a burger that fits your Weight Watchers goals without skimping on flavor? Say hello to the Chaffle Burger—a creative, low-carb twist on the classic burger that uses cheese waffles (aka “chaffles”) instead of traditional buns. This recipe delivers all the juicy, savory goodness you love, but with a keto- and WW-friendly makeover.
Why Chaffles?
Chaffles—cheese + waffles—are a low-carb lifesaver. Made with shredded cheese, eggs, and almond flour, they’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect as a bun substitute. Plus, they’re super easy to whip up in a mini waffle maker!
🍳 Ingredients
For the Chaffles:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (part-skim)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup almond flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Burger:
4 lean ground turkey or beef patties (your choice!)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Pickles
Mustard and ketchup (opt for sugar-free or reduced sugar to keep it WW-friendly)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
- Preheat the Waffle Maker
Get your mini waffle maker heated and ready to go. - Mix the Chaffle Batter
In a bowl, combine mozzarella, eggs, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well blended. - Cook the Chaffles
Lightly grease your waffle maker. Add a portion of the batter to the center and close the lid. Cook until golden brown and firm. Repeat until all batter is used (should make 4 chaffles total). - Cook the Burger Patties
Season your turkey or beef patties with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-cook over medium-high heat until cooked through. - Assemble Your Burger
Place one chaffle on a plate, layer on lettuce, a cooked patty, tomato, and pickles. Add mustard or ketchup if you like. Top with a second chaffle.
âś… Tips & Customizations
Add herbs or spices (like paprika or Italian seasoning) to the chaffle batter for a flavor boost.
Use ground chicken or plant-based patties for a different twist.
Swap in sliced avocado or a sprinkle of red onion for extra freshness.
