1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any low-point milk alternative)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 packet of zero-calorie sweetener (optional, to taste)
Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions:
Freeze the Banana:
Peel the banana and cut it into slices.
Place the banana slices in a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until solid.
Blend the Ingredients:
Add the frozen banana slices, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener (if using) to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more almond milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
Add Ice Cubes (Optional):
If you prefer a thicker, icier frosty, add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
Serve Immediately:
Pour the banana frosty into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Tips:
For an extra point, you can add a tablespoon of light whipped topping or a few mini chocolate chips on top.
You can also add a dash of cinnamon or cocoa powder for added flavor without adding points.
