  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (preferably natural)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Water (to adjust consistency)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Rice Paper Rolls:
    • Soak a rice paper sheet in warm water until pliable.
    • Lay it flat on a clean surface.
    • Add a small portion of each filling ingredient in the center.
    • Fold the sides over the filling, then roll it up tightly.
  2. Make the Satay Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, maple syrup, garlic, and ginger.
    • Adjust the consistency by adding water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired thickness is reached.
