1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
¼ tsp paprika
¼ tsp salt
Pinch black pepper
For the Crispy French Fries
4 large russet potatoes, cut into thin fries
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
Garnish
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Fries
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat completely dry. Toss with oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder.
2. Bake Until Crispy
Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crisp.
3. Season the Steak
Pat the steak dry and rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
4. Grill the Steak
Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill to high heat. Cook the steak for:
3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (54–57°C / 130–135°F)
4–5 minutes per side for medium (60–63°C / 140–145°F)
Rest the steak for 5–10 minutes before serving.
5. Cook the Shrimp
While the steak rests, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 1½–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
6. Finish the Shrimp
Add lemon juice and parsley. Toss until evenly coated in the garlic butter sauce.
7. Assemble the Plate
Arrange the steak, garlic butter shrimp, and crispy fries on a serving platter or plate.
8. Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes & Variations
Ribeye can be replaced with New York strip or sirloin.
For restaurant-style fries, double-fry them: first at 160°C (320°F), then at 190°C (375°F).
Add grated Parmesan to the shrimp for extra richness.
