LOW CARB CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS

✨ Ingredients:

For the biscuits:

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried parsley
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

For the buttery topping:

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried parsley

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and salt.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Stir in eggs, sour cream, melted butter, and cheddar cheese until well combined. Dough will be thick.
  4. Shape biscuits: Drop heaping spoonfuls onto the baking sheet (makes about 8).
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Make topping: While biscuits bake, mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
  7. Brush topping over hot biscuits right after they come out of the oven.
