Lemon Custard Dessert (No Baking, 5-Minute Preparation)

This quick and easy Lemon Custard Dessert is light, tangy, and creamy. Made with milk, lemon, and condensed milk, it’s a no-bake treat that’s ready in minutes. Perfect when you need a refreshing dessert in no time!

Ingredients:

400 ml (13.5 fl oz) milk

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

2 egg yolks

40g (1.4 oz) sugar

15g (0.5 oz) cornstarch

Juice of 1 lemon

100g (3.5 oz) condensed milk

Cinnamon, cocoa powder, or chocolate (for garnish)

Directions:

In a saucepan, heat the milk, lemon zest, and vanilla sugar over medium heat until it comes to a boil.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.

Gradually pour the hot milk into the egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly to combine.

Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until it thickens (about 2-3 minutes).

Remove from heat and let the custard cool down.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice and condensed milk until thickened.

Once the custard is cool, layer it into serving dishes and top with the lemon-condensed milk mixture.

Garnish with cinnamon, cocoa powder, or chocolate as desired.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
