Keto Steak & Cheese Skillet

Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (optional, for flavor & crunch)
- 1 small onion, sliced (optional, use sparingly for keto)
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or steak seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- ½ cup cream (optional, for a creamy touch)
Instructions:
- Heat the Skillet:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil or butter. - Cook the Veggies:
Add bell peppers and onions (if using). Sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft. Remove and set aside. - Cook the Steak:
Add steak strips to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and just cooked through (about 4–5 minutes). - Add Garlic:
Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds. - Mix & Melt:
Add the sautéed veggies back in (optional). Lower the heat, pour in the cream (if using), and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Cover with a lid and let the cheese melt for 1–2 minutes. - Serve Hot!
Garnish with fresh parsley or chili flakes if you like. Perfect with a side of keto cauliflower mash or just on its own.
