Keto Sausage Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground sausage (preferably mild or spicy, depending on your preference)
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Cook sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage, breaking it apart with a spoon, until it’s fully cooked and browned. Drain any excess fat and set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare biscuit dough: In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, shredded cheddar cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Add the eggs and melted butter. Mix until the dough comes together.
- Combine sausage: Add the cooked sausage to the dough and mix it in evenly.
- Form biscuits: Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 12 to 14 biscuits. You can shape them a bit with your hands if you prefer a neater look.
- Bake: Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Let the biscuits cool slightly before serving. They’re perfect for a breakfast or a savory snack!
