keto Chocolate Tart

Ingredients

For the crust:

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp powdered erythritol (or any keto-friendly sweetener)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

For the filling:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 oz sugar-free dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp powdered erythritol
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, sweetener, melted butter, and vanilla until it forms a dough.
  3. Press the mixture into a 9-inch tart pan evenly.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.

Step 2: Prepare the Filling

  1. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate, butter, sweetener, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Assemble & Chill

  1. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled tart crust.
  2. Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set.
