Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (diced or shredded; rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets (steamed or blanched)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (or heavy cream for a richer taste)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Broccoli: If you haven’t already, steam or blanch the broccoli florets until tender. Drain well and set aside.
  3. Mix Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, chicken broth (or heavy cream), minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

  7. Top with Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole for a nice, crispy finish if you’re using it.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
