🔸 Crust (Fathead Dough-style):
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- ¾ cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
🔸 Toppings:
- ½ cup sugar-free marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 10–12 slices pepperoni or cooked Italian sausage
- ½ cup sautéed mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers (optional)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- Fresh basil or oregano to finish
🔥 Instructions:
- Preheat Oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Make the Dough:
- In a bowl, microwave mozzarella + cream cheese for 60–90 secs (until melted).
- Stir in almond flour, egg, seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix until dough forms.
- Shape the Crust:
- Grease a small cast iron skillet or deep cake pan (7–9 inch).
- Press the dough evenly across the bottom and up the sides to form that deep-dish style.
- Pre-bake Crust:
- Bake for 8–10 mins until just golden. Remove from oven.
- Add Toppings:
- Layer cheese first (to keep the crust crisp!), then meat, veggies, and sauce on top.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Bake Again:
- Return to oven for 10–12 mins until bubbly and golden.
- Cool & Slice:
- Let it rest 5 mins before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil or oregano.
