Keto Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 1½ cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional but adds great flavor)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (plus extra for brushing)
  • 1 tbsp sour cream or cream cheese (adds moisture)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Add in shredded cheddar cheese and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, and sour cream.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a thick dough forms.
  6. Scoop 2 tbsp portions and drop onto the tray (like drop biscuits).
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Brush with melted butter (you can add a little parsley or garlic to it if you like!).
