Keto Cauliflower Cutlet

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cauliflower (steamed & mashed)
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (or coconut flour)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander or parsley
  • Oil or ghee for shallow frying

Instructions:

  1. Steam cauliflower until soft. Mash it well and squeeze out excess water using a clean cloth or strainer.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed cauliflower, cheese, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
  3. Add chopped coriander and mix everything into a dough-like mixture.
  4. Shape into small cutlets/patties.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil/ghee. Shallow fry cutlets on medium heat until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
  6. Serve hot with keto-friendly dip or Greek yogurt!
