Keto Baked Chicken in Garlic Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional for extra cheesiness)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
    • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
    • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
    • Cook until the sauce thickens slightly (2-3 minutes).
  4. Assemble:
    • Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet.
    • Spoon some sauce over each piece.
    • (Optional) Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Bake:
    • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
    • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  6. Serve:
    • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
    • Enjoy hot with a side of steamed veggies or cauliflower rice for a perfect keto meal!
