Italian Crescent Casserole

Ingredients:-
- 1 pound lean ground turkey or chicken
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can reduced-fat crescent rolls
- 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:-
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey or chicken until it’s no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cooked meat. Simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a bottom crust.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the meat mixture, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crescent crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
